In three short years of racing Damian Cownden has moved from racing in the 'Super Gas' division at local race tracks to drag racing's premiere class: Top Fuel Nitro Harley Davidson's.

Along the way he has completed over 330 successful passes down the track. He has competed on highly varying track configurations from NHRA and IHRA certified quarter miles to 300 ft. sand drags in British Columbia. He has set a track record at both the 'Cowichan Valley Sand Drags' as well as Victoria BC's Western Speedway'.

2007 was Damian's rookie year in Top Fuel, yet he achieved class milestone's by running six second quarter mile's, and having trap speeds in access of 200 mph.

He was the #1 qualifier for both ET and MPH at a CMDR event while on his way to finishing third overall in the Canadian championship for 2007.

He was awarded the 'Dennis Mark Memorial Award' for his outstanding achievements in the CMDR, and he plans to carry on his successfulness into 2008 and beyond!
